Winding Drum Drive System

The Winding Drum drive system is an elevator technology that is tried and true. The drum can be located in a machine room behind the rail or on top of the rail with enough overhead clearance. This is the drive system of choice when retro fitting an elevator into a very small space. Cab sizes can be as small as 24”x24” with 500lbs weight capacity.
